Port Fairy is also centrally located to nearby towns and attractions which make the perfect day trips from Port Fairy. This includes trips to Portland, Bridgewater Bay, Vineyards, "The Grampians" and Mt. Ecles National Park Travelling to Port Fairy can be enjoyed along the Great Ocean Road. Alternatively Princes Hwy provides a more direct route of between 3 to 4 hours from Melbourne.
